Sozwiki is a media wiki to support and complement sozlog, a weblog on sociology where topics within economy, society and culture are discussed from a sociological perspective. Chief editor is [Tina Guenther], a sociologist and [hard blogging scientist].
Sozwiki is designed to develop a platform of collaborative knowledge production on topics of sociology which follow the standards of scientific work and knowledge production as one would find it in a resarch project, a book monography, or a peer reviewed research paper. The difference is that readers on sozwiki can participate in overworking and refining the text material here. Everyone can participate and submit articles. Articles of choice may be sent to experts of the specific field of knowledge for a peer review. Articles marked as "excellent articles" will be closed such that no more changes can be made. In addition to the articles, links can be submitted: Institutions, Grad schools, institutions, professional associations, blogs/wikis, conferences and workshops.

Sozwiki erweitert und ergänzt das Angebot von [Sozlog], einem als Einladung zur Soziologie gestalteten Weblog, in welchem Phänomene aus Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft aus soziologischer Perspektive besprochen und diskutiert werden. Gründerin und Anbieterin von Sozwiki ist [Dr. Tina Guenther], Soziologin und [hard blogging scientist].
Die Zielsetzung von Sozwiki besteht in der kollaborativen Erzeugung, Bereitstellung, Überprüfung und Überarbeitung wissenschaftlichen Wissens zum Gegenstandsbereich der Soziologie Sozwiki ist eine offene Wissensplattform, welche der kollaborativen, nicht-proprietären Bereistellung von Content in Bezug auf Soziologie für die Öffentlichkeit. Das Sozwiki ist durch offene Teilnahme bei wissenschaftlichem Qualitätsanspruch gekennzeichnet. Jeder kann sich als Nutzer anmelden und mitmachen. Update 23.10.2008 - Leider hat es in der letzten Zeit Spam-Randale auf einzelnen Seiten des Sozwiki gegeben. Ich bitte um Ihr Verständnis, dass ich alle zentralen Seiten ab sofort schützen muss und nur noch selbst bearbeiten kann.
